MISSION OF THE ACADEMY
For a player to be successful, he or she must first learn to work, then compete,
and eventually win.
How to Work:
- 23 hours of on-court training (weekly)
- 8 - 10 hours of off-court training (weekly)
- Individual training program to ensure each players development
- Peak Performance Workout Analysis completed by players and coaches
- Private instruction with ATA coaches
How to Compete:
- Specific point play to simulate tight situations in tournaments
- Supervised match play with top national and ITF juniors
- Individual meetings with coaches about specific strengths and weaknesses in
competition
How to Win
- Mental toughness discussions and training on the court
- Individual meetings about goals and tournament scheduling to correspond with
ability and challenge
- Tournament play analysis sheet
- Video analysis of tournament matches
- Tournament travel team for sectional, national, and ITF events
